Trauma Fellow and LAS posts for August now recruiting!

We are looking for enthusiastic, fun-loving doctors to join the Emergency Department teams.  Emergency Medicine may or may not be your choice of career but if you want taster then apply now! We have both EM and EM/ICU (Trauma Fellow) posts available.

A job in Emergency Medicine will give you a chance to develop your practical skills, widen your knowledge base and become a real team player. The skills and experiences you will get during the six months are transferable to all areas of clinical care. They will be invaluable in your future career.

Medicine @ the Front Door CPD day.

The first Acute Medicine/ Emergency Medicine CPD day has been organised for Wednesday 25th May.

Topics include acute Radiology, Cardiology, Respiratory and Toxicology updates, Palliative Care and Anticipatory Care planning in the acute setting, the latest EMERGE research and a review of the ED research project into 'expert decision making'. To complete the day Dr Caroline Whitworth will be presenting NHS Lothian's vision for realistic medicine with her "Choosing Wisely' presentation.

All acute medicine and emergency medicine clinicians from across NHS Lothian are invited. Please book via the email addresses on the flyer. Places are free but limited.
