We have 3 exciting new Quality Improvement Fellow posts now available for FY2+ doctors. The year long posts are based at RIE Emergency Department. Clinically you will be part of the medical team working in the Emergency Department, additionally you will receive training in Quality Improvement methodology and have time allocated to complete a QI project within the ED, in a topic that interests you. AM/EM CPD day this Wednesday. See you there!
The first Acute Medicine/ Emergency Medicine CPD day is happening this Wednesday (25th May)!
Topics include acute Radiology, Cardiology, Respiratory and Toxicology updates, Palliative Care and Anticipatory Care planning in the acute setting, the latest EMERGE research and a review of the ED research project into 'expert decision making'. To complete the day Dr Caroline Whitworth will be presenting NHS Lothian's vision for realistic medicine with her "Choosing Wisely' presentation.
All acute medicine and emergency medicine clinicians from across NHS Lothian are invited. Please book via the email addresses on the flyer. Places are free but limited.
